Full Multidisciplinary Integration
The Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi is a scientific research and educational institution designed to take visitors on a journey from the origins of the universe to the future of our planet. The architecture, designed by Mecanoo, utilizes cellular structures and pentagonal shapes to echo the geological patterns of the UAE’s landscape.
The project required an extremely high level of digital engineering to manage the integration of complex building systems within a non-linear architectural shell. Our work ensured that the intricate internal galleries and high-spec mechanical systems were seamlessly coordinated with the organic outer facade to maintain the project's ambitious design intent.
